We are fortunate in British Columbia to have a
number of pro-family parliamentarians. Of particular
prominence is Paul Forseth,
M.P. - member of the "For the Sake of the Children"
Committee, co-author of the
Dissenting Opinions, and a staunch advocate of pro-family
concerns. Paul has put in many years pushing to have Equal
Parenting issues brought forward to the Canadian Parliament, and
faced fierce opposition from the Prime Minister. Both
Paul and Senator Cools have pressed on to redeem fathers from groups
like the Status of Women (SOW) enduring multiple death
threats from various radical feminist groups while serving on the
Committee. These MPs are tough.

Parenting-BC: "Conservatives are committed to
Shared Parenting. The national party “Policy Declaration” that was
passed by delegates at our March 2005 Montreal convention says
clearly that: 65. Shared Parenting: A
Conservative Government will make the necessary changes to the
Divorce Act to ensure that in the event of a marital breakdown, the
Divorce Act will allow both parents and all grandparents to maintain
a meaningful relationship with their children and grandchildren,
unless it is clearly demonstrated not to be in the best interests of
the children.
My Liberal colleagues that served with me on
the Senate-Commons committee that wrote the “For
the Sake of the Children report, admitted that they have
little confidence that their Party will ever enact the needed
amendments to the Divorce Act, that completely fulfills the report
recommendations. The NDP opposed us during the Committee process,
and have never been supportive of dads.
Conservatives are the only hope for fairness
and reasonableness in Divorce and Family Law. I encourage those who
care, to focus their energy where it will help the most, by working
to elect as many Conservatives as possible. I hope that the many who
are frustrated, not become sidetracked into protest, which does
nothing during an election but undercut our ability to make good
things happen. The Liberals and the NDP will say anything in an
election to get a vote, but they will never deliver “shared
parenting”. Every vote that does not go to a Conservative in the
next election is a vote against “shared parenting”.

Umbrella Groups require you to
"support" them, do their errands, submit
to their Code of behavior, obey their
orders, let THEM "speak" for you while
you must remain SILENT, and let THEM
claim your Membership when speaking to
government officers, puffing themselves
up? Ultimately they will be
looking for Funding to "help" you, but
already baked into the
Umbrella Group system is the loss of
what you are fighting for, and like the
typical Canadian Charitable
Organization, 85% of the funds raised
are consumed by supporting the
"Leadership Team" who will claim
they deserve to be well remunerated for
the critical services they are
providing.
For twenty years now, we have found that
to enter into dialogue with a Public
Officer, the first thing they want to
know is
who the "Leadership" is and
how many Members they represent.
(BTW we say you should NEVER reveal
this!) If the numbers are large,
the Officer then offers the prospect
that if the
Leadership will play ball , there is
a prospect of getting government money
with which you can open an office.
If you are not terribly stupid you will
recognize immediately that once your
"Leadership" accepts government money,
and sets up an office and incurs monthly
obligations and salary commitments ,
they have immediately been co-opted, and
have become "them" and you are trapped
supporting "them"..
We have watched our "Father's Rights"
guys castrated with government
cheques and given an
office from which
they now run
"Anger Management" classes and many
of the familiar programs to keep you
pre-occupied like marching in the
Gay Parades with the very people who
took from you your
Common Law rights as a Natural
Parent to Parent your own Natural
Children!
By requiring your compliance in in
word and deed or
be subject to expulsion
followed by denigration with the
surviving "Sheeple".
The "Leaders" of an
Umbrella Group don't represent
anybody.
Instead of an
Umbrella Group we propose the
Equal
Parenting Trek and
The
EP Roundup in each town is like a
"Trade Fair" for all the different Equal
Parenting and Non-Custodial Parents'
groups in that town to get together once
a year and host the Speaker Meetings,
the Closed Meetings, and the EP
Trekkers.
Having completed the "Fare Well" at the
Equal Parenting Roundup, the EP
Trekkers head off to the next town in
the Circuit flying the various colors of
the Equal Parenting communities, and
drawing attention - and hopefully new
members - to the
EP Roundup in the next town along
the path of the
Equal
Parenting Trek.

Equal Parenting Agreement
like a
"Three Layer Cake". Each successive Layer rests upon
and satisfies an Obligation of the former

The Bottom Layer: The Initial Equal Parenting Agreement
 Initial Equal Parenting Agreement creating full time, all time
equality of both
Natural Parents, subordinate to no third parties (a
Constitutional right ignored by most Family Courts); a series of
tentative
Parenting Timetables for each year and statement of intent, or
"Wishes"; the requirement that the tentative Parenting Timetable laid
out there will be reviewed and finalized annually and incorporated into
the
Annual Parenting Supplement. Parental authority and discretion
is always equal and unaffected by inequalities of Parenting Time
allocations.
The
Initial Agreement establishes a collection of Covenants which
span all years to the children's
Age of Majority.
Some Covenants will span the entire term of the Agreement, while some Covenants
can only be made In Principle and will be deferred to an
Annual
Parenting Supplement
 2.
Middle Layer: The Annual Supplement & its Parenting
Timetable
The
"Middle
Layer", the series of "Annual Parenting Supplements" finalizes a specified
subset of Covenants which could in the
Initial Agreement be made only In Principal, (or as "Wishes" in the language
of a Trust). Typically these are the Guardianship topics.
Each
Annual
Supplement and it's
embedded Parenting Time Timetable is necessary to perform the Obligations or Trusts of the
Initial Agreement.
The
Annual Parenting Supplements are
for near term
planning
of
the
upcoming
school year and
finalizing the
Parenting Timetable for the coming year.
The
Parenting Timetable created
must meet the test for equality established in
1) the initial Equal Parenting Agreement.
In an Equal Parenting Agreement, Parenting Time is NOT an indicator of
Parental Authority.
Two Equal
Parents may by consent agree to unequal Parenting Time, but this does
NOT impugn the Parental Authority of either Natural Parent
relative to third parties without Cause or Consent.
Each
Annual Supplement is made about the same time each
year and deals only with parenting decisions for the upcoming year which were
deferred in the Initial Agreement, and made only In Principle.
An
Annual Parenting Supplement for each year fulfills an Obligation
created in the
Initial Agreement, and
one
will be made annually until the Agreement's
term is completed at the Age of Majority of the youngest Child.
Failure to create an Annual Supplement means the requirements of the
Initial Agreement made In Principle will be by silence be
given approval.
3.
Top Layer: Autonomy of Both Equal Parents on all matters not
previously Constrained
The
Parenting Timetable alternates physical custody and
all residual parenting questions
not previously constrained by agreement in the
Initial Agreement or the current
Annual Parenting Supplements
between the two otherwise equal Natural Parents.
Both Natural
Parents retain full Parental Authority relative to all third parties,
and are subject to no third
party Interloper or to a Public Officer without statutory Cause or
Consent. This way the Natural Parent who is not the
Timetabled Parent (and is now a subordinate Co-Parent) remains at all
times empowered to protect the Child from the
State and all other
threats.

 Mid-Week
Closed Meetings: Intermediate Towns or Towns not on
Arnie's Route might want to have a Mid-Week Closed Meeting, say
on the Wednesday Evening.
Friday,
Arrivals Day: Arrivals in the late afternoon.
Dinner, Billets set up. Closed Meetings during Friday
Evening and Saturday Morning.
Saturday: Meetings Day: Open
Speaker Meetings Saturday Morning thru Saturday Evening.
Please have your best SPEAKERS at OPEN MEETINGS recorded if you
can for uploading to YouTube for viewing in subsequent Roundups
during the EP Progressive Convention.
Sunday,
March & Farewells Day:
Gather at your muster station at 9 AM
and find your group's March Marshalls. The
EP
Trekkers, be they Cyclists, Classic Cars, or Motorbikes,
will probably depart first, and start circling the
buildings at the Rally Point until your arrival. The March
Marshalls will organize each groups departure. which will
be followed by literature distribution & "flag waving" as
you
MARCH to the steps of the
the Rally Point buildings , which will probably be a local
University, College, Library or Government Buildings.
Ideally, your Rally Point will be your local Courthouse or
Legislative Buildings, as you message to others is to
"Take Back the Courts".
Remember, a March is NOT a
Parade, but an assertion of Ownership. To remain
unfettered by licensing requirements, it may be advantageous for
the Trekkers to remain as simple Vehicles on the roadways, and
the Marchers to remain as simple Pedestrians off the roads, each
obeying all pertinent local laws.
The MARCH incorporates
ongoing leaflet distribution and Calls for new Marchers to tag
along, as you approach the Rally site at Noon, hopefully with
lots of Drums & Pipes. Have your Speakers over the Lunch
Hour, followed by the
"Fare
Well" and Trekker's Departure onto the Next Leg of the
Equal Parenting Trek Please let everything be done
in an orderly and courteous fashion, mindful of the needs of
your fellow Citizens.
Simply exercise without hooliganism your rights of Freedom
of Speech and Freedom of Assembly, and to Petition the
Legislature. These hard-won Freedoms must be exercised.
