general consensus among psychologists specializing in childhood
development is that the best
post-separation parenting arrangement is one in which both parents
contribute equally, or near-equally, to the raising of their children
and have an equal, or near-equal, amount of time with them."

& STUDIES supporting the need for equal parenting
To emphasize the need for both
parents in the life of a child, the
Children's’ Rights Council each year sponsors Equal Parents’
Week in September. This year, the week of September 26 - October 2
is Equal Parents’ Week. The following description of Equal
Parents’ Week comes from the Children's’ Rights Council:
 "Equal
Parents' Week is a movement which sends the message that parental
rights and responsibilities must be shared equally by both parents.
.. The purple ribbon
is the symbol which sends this message. People are urged to send
this message by wearing purple ribbons and tying them everywhere
they can be seen. .. Equal Parents' Week is a
civil rights movement. More than that, it is a human rights
movement. Equal Parents' Week advocates that equality is not just a
legal concept. The right of
both parents to function as a parent, the right of children to be
raised and nurtured by both parents, and the right of families to
exist and function as a family, are rights inherent and inalienable
to all <NATURAL> families. The Equal Parents' Week mandate
for equal parent status is a mandate for the time it takes to love,
nurture, and teach our children our values the only way we can...a
mandate for the ability to be a parent...and a mandate for justice.

children. .. Communities around the world will be holding
candlelight vigils on September 29, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. local time.
The
Equal Parents’ Week website will have a listing of those vigils,
and the Coalition invites all parents and children to participate.
You may also want to contact a local
Children's Rights Coalition chapter for more information. If
there is not a community vigil in your area, the website also offers
instructions for hosting your own
home vigil at the same time."

 This Fall, please commemorate
Arnie Hein's Cross-Canada
Cycle Trek
by setting up Joint Meetings across Canada and driving a segment
of Arnie's route to meet your EP neighbors to your East and to
your West . To facilitate the "Wave" effect, please
approximate your Joint Meeting's date with the anniversary of
Arnie's overnight in your town. In Vancouver, we are
anticipating a Joint Meeting on Sunday afternoon, December 10,
at Kitsilano Beach.
Arnie's ride began in
St. John's,
NFLD on September 14, 2005, and ended in
Vancouver, BC on December 11. In
October, 2005, Arnie was riding westward through Quebec &
Ontario.

 F4J National Black Box Demonstrations, September
 Fathers-4-Justice (Canada) will be demonstrating
 during the week of September,
2007.
This event highlights the continuing fact that the Family
Courts are stripping children of dedicated and loving parents.

Fall
EP Trek From St. John's to Vancouver,
each
September through December
Each Fall, please commemorate
Arnie Hein's Cross-Canada
Cycle Trek by setting up a Joint Speaker Meeting for
the Natural Parent's groups in your town on the Weekend shown on
Tentative EP Trek Weekend Dates & Hosts.
The Americans
Robert Mackenzie and Robert Pedersen have already answered
the call to complete the last leg of the proposed
Equal Parenting Trek.
These two hardy Cyclists began in 2007 the Equal Parenting Trek
leg from Akron Ohio to Washington DC where they had a large DC
Rally with Stephen Baskerville as a keynote Speaker.
To
create a "Wave" effect in this "Progressive
Convention for Natural Parent's Rights", the weekend dates
approximate the Anniversaries of Arnie's 2005 trip
through your Province. In the beginning, a typical Joint Meeting
Weekend will take place on or about the
Saturday afternoon.
In later years, this time may expand to
a weekend beginning Thursday or Friday evening, and ending on Sunday
afternoon. After a Public Assembly and/or March, the
Trekkers will depart Sunday afternoon, and begin the next segment of
the EP Trek route to meet your EP & Natural Parents Rights
neighbors to your West (East in the US). In Vancouver, we are anticipating a Joint
Meeting on Saturday afternoon, December 8, 2007 at Kitsilano Beach.
At each Joint Meeting, the Speakers at the Public Meetings ONLY will
hopefully be recorded and their tapes/CDs will be passed on in a
package with the Trekkers. The Anonymous Meetings, are of course
"anonymous" and follow AA's Anonymity rules. If you don't
know how that works, call your local AA. They're
EVERYWHERE. Hopefully
EPA
will get "everywhere" soon, too!

Murray Williams - aka - Metropolis Superman will be
in trial for his actions on Canada Day 2006 and the
subsequent attendance of rescue services to remove
Superman who was situated about 12 feet below the
Metropolis sign on Metropolis Mall in Burnaby BC.
Murray's trial begins at 9:00 am at the Vancouver
Adult criminal court on main street in Vancouver.
Any and all supporters are encouraged to attend and
join us afterwards when we head over to the
Vancouver Supreme court to conduct our Black Box
demonstration."
