From the intimidation and threats I am receiving I believe I will be seriously harmed or killed because of my direct attempts to uncover people in a huge "Women Only" fraud.

My name is David John Thornton I am 63 years old. I have no criminal record. I lived in a world famous tourist town, Kincardine Ontario Canada. I have never, in our 23 year relationship, ever hit my wife. My wife is a former missionary. I am a victim of a false domestic violence complaint for a most insidious motive.

It came to my attention that my wife defrauded a senior citizen of $7,500 and a single mother of $3,500 is some kind of pyramid fraud.

I thought it was some local thing that had collapsed. I told her I do not steal from people. I wanted this money returned and was willing to pay half. Unbeknownst to me, she notified the police in our small-town that I was gathering evidence. I had no idea of the police connection and wrongly assumed, if anything the police would help me.

On March 10, 2003 I informed the prosecutor's office that my apartment had been broken into, my telephone unlawfully tapped, my wife was in some kind of fraud and she and her new found boyfriend were engaged in these harassing acts.

I did not know that the local prosecuting attorney was aware of what I would later find out was a massive pyramid fraud. On the same day March 10, 2003 according to police documents I have, the prosecuting attorney instead of dealing with my complaints told Kincardine police to keep "detailed notes on
me."

Nine days later I was arrested for breaking a Court Order.

I was jailed in Walkerton Ontario, beaten by prison guards my ribs broken. I was held in solitary confinement, not allowed to contact anyone for 10 days, even a lawyer or the Ontario Ombudsman, given an overdose of psychotic medication against my will, rendered unconscious and transferred to a psychiatric hospital in London Ontario for a period of one week. This is confirmed in court transcripts and hospital documents. The news media here will not touch this story.

Mahiari W was one of the major organizers, who police later confirmed was in this fraud. She was voted "Citizen of the Year" while "working this fraud" with the knowledge of police. She sits on several boards of our small-town, and has a "cozy relationship" with the police and politicians. Her husband works for New NX TV in London Ontario which is affiliated with City TV in Toronto Ontario which is well-known to be pro police.

I have paid about $20 or more in their "Speakers Corner's" TV recording machine. I have held up my documents, I have told them the names of the politicians, the police officer's wife, and all the names confirmed by police themselves. I have tried to leave documents. I have protested outside their studios. Without acknowledging one of my documents or one of my allegations, they called police to have me removed from Speakers Corner. That's an example of some of our Ontario news media.

I have given my documents and story to several other news media no one will acknowledge the facts of what is very slowly being questioned by the public. C.K.C.O. in Kitchener Ontario, the city where I was born and lived, has two 911 CDs of false allegations used in an attempt to have me jailed and police documents showing my innocence. Citizens who phoned inquiring about the documents and CDs have been told I am a "nut case."

A lady who received one of my pamphlets on the street and called, said the TV station denied they were given CDs and documents. This is what's going on in my country to suppress wide scale fraud involving the upper echelon of our society. Try calling CKCO TV 519-578-1313 and enquiring into my allegations. I have confirmed this fraud was in the highest positions of the Ontario Government, School Board, police departments, elected government officials, etc.

A Small Claims Court action in London Ontario, launched by one of the victims, of this fraud, aginst the wife or daughter of the Director of the Board of Education was won. The decision was then appealed. Myself and victims taken in this scamm are awaiting the outcome of that decision. In the meantime I can ill afford to do nothing and wait to be further harassed or killed.

In my court case disseminating information was given to the media by the prosecuting attorney Brian Linley. One example.

"That I was arrested standing on the bed or beside the bed caught in the "act" by a police officer. The "act" being my wife's false allegation that I ripped my clothes off and leapt on top of her naked."

This is a whole new way of using a false domestic violence complaint. In order to silence someone exposing a political matter, just get a disgruntled wife with a motive, (her involvement in crime) or any woman for that matter, to make up a story or in this case, change her original statements to police to "he leapt on top of me naked." Police reports on March 19 the day of my arrest show clearly that when asked what happened that evening, my wife, a former missionary, who would never have put her husband in jail with lies, according to the original police reports stated in absolute terms "there was no assault, no threat, no contact and no words were exchange.

My wife then went to a "women's abuse shelter", talked to her lawyer, then sat with victim impact officers, then after a video statement, said in court 'he ripped his clothes off and leapt on top of me naked."????

Prosecutor and judge are trying everything to stop production of this prior statement in court and the calling of police witnesses. They have quashed subpoenas and have made it virtually impossible, enconomically, for me to bring the witnesses to court to prove the truth and defend myself. I need a defence fund or intervenors on my behalf.

These are the lenghths the system is going to, to destroy me so no one will believe my indepth investigation into this pyramid fraud and the high profile people involved.

Due do circumstances which become clear as one reads on, I was forced to act as my own council.

Months into this case it is proven there was no court order. My wife admitted under my cross-examination that she unlawfully tape-recorded my telephone calls. She admitted being involved in this pyramid fraud. She admitted that in our 23 year relationship I've never hit her, notwithstanding she admitted hitting me. She will not however, admit to her earlier statements, that there was 'no assault, no threat, no contact, no words exchanged and that she was going to the civil court to resolve our differences." Those who control the system have coerced a former missionary to lie. This is reprehensible and an abuse of power.

Also evidence extracted from a police officer under cross-examination is that I drove to the police department and simply asked why the police were at my home earlier in the afternoon and was promptly arrested for breaking this nonexistence court order and criminal harassment. I was not arrested in the bedroom caught in the act of attempting to rape my wife, as falsely stated by the prosecutor to the press.

I was finally released on unbelievably strict bail terms. It had become embarrassing to the system since my incarceration waiting for trial was considerably longer than most men in my area, with criminal records, having been convicted for actual assault. While I was incarcerated in London, a London Ontario man was given 60 days for breaking three court orders, being drunk, beating up his wife (who walks with a cane and has osteoporosis) at least three times. In the last incident he pulled his wife out of her vehicle dropping her on her back in a parking lot videotaped by a private investigator who happened to be there on another matter. He was given 60 days and allowed to return to his wife and seek counseling.

I have been thrown out of my entire community where I lived for 23 years. I am not allowed to set foot there except to see a doctor or other professionals and I must take a surety with me. I have been on trial since March 19, 2003. It continues Sept. 03, 2004.

Never being subjected to this kind of incarceration I had told jail guards, I was innocent, and had documents that proved it. And that I was with police at the time my wife's boyfriend had said "I had threatened to rape her" I told them of the pyramid faud. The guards simply stepped up their abuse against me. I was beaten, my ribs broken, placed in solitary confinment for a total of 32 days, with threats, placed on psychotic medication against my will, given an overdose of psychotic medication, rendered unconscious, and sent to a London psychiatric facility for a week.

Court transcripts and hospital documents confirm my allegations. For 10 days I was not allowed to call a lawyer, Ontario Ombudsman, a minister, no one. I would later find out they were aware of this pyramid fraud and possibly had friends and family involved in it.

The final answer I received from the office of the Ontario Ombudsman was to take this story to the BBC (the British Broadcasting System) in England. Imagine being told by the Ontario Ombudsman to go to England to uncover fraud in Ontario. I have the documentation and evidence of my interaction with the Ontario Ombudsman.

When finally released from jail, I was given some information about this pyramid fraud from some victims and began investigating. To my horror I found the wife of my wife's divorce lawyer Mr. Ted W of Kincardine had involved my wife in this huge fraud. It was he and the prosecuting attorney, who had concocted the lie about the nonexistence exclusive posession order to a Superior Court Judge.

It was then confirmed there were at least two politicians, a woman chosen as citizen of the year in our small community, real estate brokers and agents, and several prominent women in the community involved. Police finally confirmed these individual's involvement, who had never been charged and who's names never released. By the demeanor of the police it was apparent "I had better keep my mouth shut." I have received death threats and told by police I can be "harassed to the grave."

I was arrested March 19, 2003 exactly one month after this fraud had been exposed on the Oprah Winfred TV show February 19 2003. Unfortunately I learned about this months later. If I had known at the time I could have protected myself from this conspiracy behind my back.

I have been harassed by police, and the prosecutor's office. I now realize what they are suppressing, and why they are trying to destroy me. In the town of Walkerton less than 25 mi. from us where I am on trial, Tammy G, the wife of the former chief of police of Walkerton Ontario at the time of this fraud, was also a major player.

Walkerton police, and the Ontario Provincial Police in Kincardine suppressed their investigation and covered up for all these people. In 2001 at the height of this fraud the chief of police of Walkerton, Burle G, himself was tried and convicted of fraud, breach of trust and theft in an unrelated matter.

At the same time, because of fraud breach of trust, lies and coverup children and others in the town of Walkerton died as a result of the world famous Walkerton drinking water scandal.

In our town a former police officer last name Proctor was found to have broken into several businesses stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise. He was convicted.

This is the "rats nest" of corruption I was living in without knowing. And now my wife is involved with this bunch.

I attempted to lay charges in connection with the obvious false evidence that was given against me by my wife's boy friend. It is clearly written in two police officers reports that this man lied. The actual word lied is used by these police officers in describing the threats he claims I made against him, and the rape threat he claims I made against my wife. These police officers were on the scene at the time. A police woman Melissa B, had this man Alex N under surveillance when he claims I threatened him. She told him to his face she heard the whole conversation that I had not threatened him, that he lied. This is what is written in her report which is being suppressed.

The justice of the peace has refused to charge this liar. This is Justice of the Peace Hepburn, the same JP who accepted this man's lie that I threatened to rape my wife, stated on the witness stand, using a "Will Say Statement" through the investigating officer. The prosecuting attorney, Brian Linley, who has now threatened to sue me for over $1 million, is the same prosecuting attorney who used this lie to argue for my continual incarceration without bail. He argued against charging this man, when he knows full well another police officer Melissa B, an eye witness, said the man lied.

I have now taken to the streets, but unlike the U.S., Canadians seldom question authority or their news media. I have now been threatened to be killed.

Canada is statistically the worst country in the world for perpetration of fraud. These frauds eventually work their way into United States. The pyramid fraud "Women helping Women" that my wife was involved in was reportedly started in Toronto Canada 11 years ago and keeps recycling. Cops wives, politicians, and the upper echelon, pickup at least $40,000 every two to three years as this recycles under the watchful "blind eye" of law-enforcement.

There is another huge pyramid fraud starting up here using gemstones. Police here are covering up more fraud then they are investigating. I have seen so many people hurt. My friend's son is bankrupt after being taken for $32,000 in "The Nigeria cheque kiting fraud." On the street I have met several young women who were forced to declare bankrupcy at such a young age. One was only 22, a woman who worked for a large apparently credible investment organization in Mississauga Ontario, used the name of that organization to promote this "Women Helping Women" pyramid fraud.

Police and the media here are clever at making it appear as though they are "cracking down" on crime. Example?

Police charged nobody in this "Rats Nest" of corruption in my area. They moved about 10 mi. north to Tiverton Ontario, and Southhampton Ontario charging a Farmer's wife, and an unsophisticated widow from the Maritimes, who claimed, as did most victims, that lawyers and police told them it was legal. They dragged their names through the mud, coerced them to plead guilty, this while they were protesting at the time that other people, in prominent positions made thousands but, they were being singled out for prosecution, and public scorn.

I think the fact that the chief of police's wife, and the wife of dirty divorce lawyer Ted W were up to their necks in this fraud, lends credence to all these unsophisticated victims claims of having been told that this pyramid scheme was legal and lawyers and police approved it, or were looking the other way.

These are not the only injustices I have tried to correct in my lifetime, and found myself a victim of police and political harassment.

My dad fought WW1. My older brother WW2. The same brother and another in Korea. This is my country, and these frauds are helping destroy it.

I am in very serious trouble. I am nearly bankrupt. I'm been pursued and harassed by police and politicians. On February 12, 2004, I was pulled over by two police cruisers and four Waterloo Regional Police Officers. A gun pointed at my head. I was taken to the psychiatric wing of the nearest hospital in an attempt to have me railroaded again, into a mental institution.

With some difficulty I was able to convince the psychiatrist that although these things sound delusional they are true.

He said besides my sounding delusional his problem was that according to my admittance form I had called 911 claiming to have a gun. I accepted his justifiable attitude and disbelief, but told him, I did not call 911 which would be a matter of record. And I do not own a gun and deplore violence.

Fortunately, he checked with one of a few professionals I know, who themselves are apprehensive about publicly supporting me in this country.

She convinced the psychiatrist I was not delusional. She has checked my material and knows the story. The psychiatrist later checked my documents and evidence and gave me a letter supporting and confirming his belief I am not delusional, and that an injustice is taking place here.

I had earlier called a politicians office, MPP John Milloy of Kitchener explaining to an aid there, several matters. She then called 911. However, neither she nor the 911 dispatcher, mentioned anything about me calling 911 or that I had a gun. The admitting nurse wrote this after talking to the officers who picked me up.

In a separate incident, while picketing the courthouse in Kitchener I was pushed toward traffic by a police officer. This is on report. The police officer acknowledged, through the citizen's complaint branch, that he had not acted properly, and stated that somehow our feet had got tangled up. The fact is we were talking face-to-face. I told him he was harassing me. In a deliberate act he put his foot on mine and pushed me toward traffic. He was later sanctioned.

I then pressured police into providing me a transcript of the 911 call that put me in hospital.

Dispatcher:     that's it. Just gatoraid.ca

MPP's office:    Yup. Yeah.

Dispatcher:    OK. What did you say, you checked this web site and it's scary. Is that what you said?

MPP's office   Well, well it's scary. It has all the stuff he's been telling me about...... he was saying that police have been harassing him for 30 years. Police tried to throw him in, in, you know, into traffic. He was talking about a corrupt pyramid scheme that politicians and police are involved in and like just everything. He was all over... I was trying to get him to focus. He said he tried to expose elder abuse at Sunnyside, Sunnyside Home and was threatened by police and there were charges against him that he tried to rape his wife and he was all over the place.

It is quite apparent that the MPP's aid understood my message very clearly.

The problem I'm having is..... How do I know which MPP's were involved in
this pyramid fraud with police and harbour a motive to have me locked up or
killed. And secondly how do I distinguished good cops from bad cops, they
both wear blue uniforms.

I am being ripped apart by the malicious misuse of the legal system where I
am powerless. The only power I have is in the most powerful court. The court
of public opinion. Though it is the most powerful when it gets going, it is
the most difficult to motivate into action.

If people across the world would support me with a few simple telephone
calls or faxes to the prosecuting attorney's office, to the police, the
media. Ask a few questions or just inform them that you are watching this
case.

There are so many unsophisticated victims of these horrible pyramid frauds
facing bankruptcy and sometimes the destruction of their lives having
inocently gotten friends and family involved. It is not generally the smart
people, the upper echelon who know how these pyramid schemes run and start
at the top that lose.... they win . They make the big bucks. It is people at
the bottom who can ill afford to lose their money. Single moms, young people
just starting out, senior citizens who are bilked out of their retirement
savings in the latter stages of their life, with no hope of recovering. This
is sad and it is sick.

I am putting my life on the line to expose this will you please help me with
a few telephone calls.

Can anyone out there find me someone with the resources, the conscience, the
wherewithal to expose this particular case. I was not involved in this
horrible mess, But I am one of it's worst victims. The perpetrator weren't
jailed. I was the one who went to jail on trumped up charges for simply
attempting to get two women their money back.

I am unable to fathom that lawyers, politicians, police who know how these
schemes work, have no conscience, no morals when they see the devistating
harm this does to their victims.

I could be helped tremendously, and carry on this fight, if ordinary people
would simply ask a few hard questions of some of the following people or get
this story to someone in a media willing to expose it.

I expect I will be seriously harmed or killed in my pursuit against these
fraudulent criminals. I will not quit because of intimidation. Americans
say it best.

"GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH"
